SFP holds a wide array of product provider agreements across the licence categories of life insurance, investment planning, employee benefits, short-term insurance and healthcare. We pride ourselves on the fact that our advisers are able to guide clients to a fully independent choice of solutions across our product provider range, and continued adviser and client choice is the cornerstone of our strategy.

  • Compliance – We provide all FAIS and other applicable legislative compliance services, monthly monitoring of advice records, and on-site compliance visits. Our in-house compliance officer provides objective advice and on-going support for all matters of compliance, including a centralised complaints process to support you with dispute resolution. SFP will also handle the annual FSB reporting on your behalf as part of its central licensing.
  • PI cover – SFP holds professional indemnity cover on behalf of all its financial advisers and advice staff.
  • Payroll and commission system – you will be provided with a monthly payslip and commission statement facilitating individual transaction tracking.

As a member of SFP you have access to a bespoke version of XPlan called SanFin. The SanFin suite of advice tools is supported via Sanlam’s technology consultant team to enhance your professional client experience. To assist you with general technology implementation in your practice, we have negotiated a dedicated support agreement for both the software and use of financial planning tools.
